The Owens family has been in the horse business since 1972. They
started with the southwestern traditional breed, the American Quarter
Horse. Through the years they were involved in breeding and showing
both working and pleasure horses. Their love of horses continued
as they tried the merits of Arabians, and Clydesdales.
In 1993 they purchased their first Paso Fino as a trail horse.
Upon realizing the magnificent abilities of this breed, their direction
changed from wanting just a trail horse to acquiring the best blood
lines available and breeding for future champions.
In 1998 they hired a professional trainer, Juan Carlos Conde, to
help guide them on selection of bloodlines and to promote their
existing stock.
They eagerly look forward to the new millennium with weanlings,
and yearlings on the ground and young horses started for the 2000
show season.
